CCTV WebServers
Click on the link below to:
Log on to South CCTV WebServer
Log on to North CCTV WebServer
If this is the first time you have connected to these WebServers, the house's servers will download a small programme (ActiveX Control) to your PC. You may need to temporarily allow "Download unsigned ActiveX controls" in the Custom security settings of your Browser or if you prefer you can click on the "Download" link at the bottom of the CCTV log-on page. Depending on your settings your Browser or other protection software may still prevent you from accessing this function.
After you have clicked on a webserver link above, you can enter a URL for a CCTV webserver in the log-in dialogue box. You can also simultaneously select and view cameras from all WebServers by clicking on the computers icon to add more WebServers and their cameras to the view pane. The URLs of the servers are:
You can view live and recorded video and locally record only - you do not have access to the Pan & Tilt controls or the central Server recording controls. You may control these if you have access to the Automation Webservers.
The north CCTV WebServer streams video from 8 cameras covering the front garden, drive, rear garden and north living rooms.
The south CCTV WebServer streams video from 16 cameras covering the south and centre living rooms, rear garden, field and bedrooms. (Note: for privacy the bedroom and some living room cameras may not be viewable when the house is occupied - except when occupied by intruders)!!
The west CCTV Webserver streams video from 4 cameras covering the remote garage block and field.
Please note that all of the interior rooms and grounds are illuminated by automatic lighting which is normally off unless the occupancy / intruder / fire sensors have been activated. The cameras will operate in colour during daylight or automatic lighting. At night, when the lighting for an area is off, invisible infra-red lighting automatically switches on in the rooms and grounds and the cameras switch to amplified B&W images.
When you are connected to the CCTV Webserver, enter your username and password and click Next. Then click a viewing pane with your mouse and click on a camera in the list. You may stop viewing individual cameras, select others and locally record or view central recordings by right-clicking the camera name.
